FROM MECHANICAL WORKSHOP TO INDUSTRIAL RETAILER

Technobi S.r.l., set up in 1979, started as a precision machine shop focused on manufacturing T-series angle gears under the trademark Technobi. In the first existing production site at that time in Lainate, several angle gears models were manufactured, and some of them are still available in the market today. At the beginning of the 1980s, with the increasing demand and the market growth, angle gears manufacture was combined with the product marketing of mechanical drives, such as rolling bearings, couplings and hub-shaft connections, linear guideways and freewheels, and other components for transmission.

In time, the company secures several successful relationships with prestigious sector brands, becoming authorized supplier of the best components available on the market, such as Bonfiglioli reducers, Hiwin linear guideways, rolling bearings, couplings and hub-shaft connections, freewheels, and other components for transmission. Due to its constant grownth in over 40 years of business, Technobi's actual headquarter in Buccinasco representes a huge commercial reality, well-known and appreciated in italian's industrial transmissions market.

1979 Birth

Opening of the first precision mechanical workshop with a specialization in production of Technobi branded T-series angle gears.

1986 Development

The company's dynamic development and the fast growth of the new commercial business led to the opening of new commercial offices in Milan, combined with the production site in Lainate.

1992 Bonfiglioli Riduttori

Technobi acquired the vending license to supply Bonfiglioli Riduttori products, paving the way to industrial transmission market.

1996 Business

Technobi decided to stop the production of angle gears in Lainate and became exclusively a trading company.

1999 New headquarters

All business activities moved to the owned site in Buccinasco (Milan) which the current headquarters of the company.

2008 Cutting plant

A new fast stand-alone cutting machine for recirculating balls linear guideways and hardened and gruond bars was installed in the site in Buccinasco.

2015 Hiwin guideways

Strong of many years of experience in the field of linear motion, Technobi confirmed its skills becoming Official Distributor Hiwin Italy.

2016 Automated cut

Technobi purchased a new fully automated system for cutting linear guideways and recirculating ball screws and a grinding machine for the junction of linear guideways.

2018 Vertical stores

Technobi improved internal logistics management throught the installation of a new automatic vertical warehouse. The same year, the certification was updated with the transition to the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 standards.

2022 Reducers assembly

Technobi acquired and launched an assembly system for Bonfiglioli gear units C-A-F-S series from size 10 to 60.

Our company is certified ISO 9001

In 2002 Technobi is one of the first trade companies in the industry to be certified according to the rules UNI EN ISO 9001:2000, with the related adaptation during the subsequent years, to the new rules UNI EN ESO 9001:2008. In 2018, the certification is updated with the transition to the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 standards.
